Woman Stabbed to Death in Gwinnett Home - Lawrenceville Patch A woman was reportedly killed in her home outside the Lawrenceville city limits late Wednesday night. At about 10:45pm, Gwinnett County Police were called to a home at 1403 Alamein Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville. When they arrived, officers found a woman dead from multiple stab wounds. The victim was identified as 64-year-old Parviz Moledina. According to police, Moledina lived alone. GCPD Cpl. Jake Smith said the woman's car, a silver 2007 Volvo station wagon, was missing from the home. Early Thanksgiving morning, GCPD officers found Moledina's car in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall, formerly Discover Mills Mall. See Lawrenceville Patch for more on this story. …

Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy Wrecks Patrol Car, Charged with DUI Georgia State Patrol reports a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy's vehicle was involved in a wreck at 1:20 a.m. this morning on Georgia Highway 81 at Double Springs Road in Walton County. According to the trooper, a Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department vehicle ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned several times. In a press release, GSP reported that nobody was around the vehicle when first responders arrived. Barrow Patch has the full story.
