Vandals Cause $7,000 in Damages to New Home

A neighbor on New Fawn Lane in Milton spotted water rushing out of the garage of a house under construction in the neighborhood. By the time the water was turned off, $7,000 in damages was done. On Christmas Day Milton police were dispatched to the home. The property manager for Lennar Properties told police the neighbor called her at 1 p.m. to tell her about the water rushing out of the house. She provided him the key code to enter the house, but he found the back door to the house open. Once inside, he saw a garden house had been placed in the home and turned on. He shut the water off.
