Victims Found on GA 400, Greenway Died of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wounds
Alpharetta police have ended their investigations into the unrelated incidents.
Alpharetta investigators have concluded that a motorist found dead in his car and a man whose body was found near the Big Creek Greenway both were the victims of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Police closed their investigations into the unrelated incidents today, said George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. Alpharetta police responded to a call by a Georgia Department of Transporation HERO driver on Dec. 12. The HERO unit operator found a man inside a car on GA 400 northbound just north of Kimball Bridge Road. The man in the car was dead.
