SAR Names Milton's Hutcheson Firefighter of the Year
The battalion chief and his wife foster twin infant boys and an 18-month-old girl to keep them from being separated.
Milton Battalion Chief Roth Hutcheson was named the Firefighter of the Year by the Sons of the American Revolution, Piedmont Chapter (SAR) in a ceremony at Monday night's City Council meeting. The reason is simple and profound: This year, Hutcheson and his wife, Michelle, invited into their lives twin infant boys and an 18-month-old girl, saving them from separation in foster care. The children join Hutcheson's two biological boys.
