Police Suspect Son in Mother's Death; Coach Arrested for Sexual Assault

Police Suspect Son Killed Elderly Mother - Lawrenceville Patch Gwinnett County Police say they believe an elderly woman's son may be responsible for her death. Officers were called to 1139 Simonton Glen Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville at 10:28 Tuesday morning. The husband of 72 year old Phyllis Wilson and her care taker came back to the house to find the body of the partially paralyzed woman. Officers observed some signs of trauma on Mrs. Wilson's body, but did not know the extent of her injuries. The Gwinnett Medical Examiner's Office determined she had been stabbed to death. The Wilsons' son, 42-year-old Mark Wilson, suffers from schizophrenia and lives with the couple. However, police have not been able to track him down. See …
