Cumming Man Dies After Colliding Head-On with Tree - Cumming Patch A 33-year-old man died Sunday evening in a one-vehicle wreck in north Forsyth County. James Ryan Symmes, of Woodruff Trace in Cumming, was approaching the intersection of Hubert Martin Road and Poplar Woods Drive around 6:05 p.m. in his 2007 Chevrolet Trail Blazer when the accident happened, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Symmes crossed over into the southbound lane, went off the roadway and struck a large pine tree head-on in front of 4925 Hubert Martin Road. Sgt. A 53-year-old Johns Creek man pleaded guilty in federal court on Thursday, Oct. 6, to 21 counts of possessing child pornography Dirk LaPaglia admitted that he manufactured hundreds of sexually explicit images of nearly two dozen minor children by superimposing photos of their faces onto pornographic images. The case began when Johns Creek authorities investigated a series of stalking incidents in which neighborhood residents, including at least one minor, were sent anonymous packages containing lingerie and letters describing sexual encounters involving various adult and child members of the neighborhood, according to U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates.
