Milton Homeowners Report Burglaries with Jewelry, Drugs, Appliances Taken

The following information was supplied by the Milton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Hickory Flat Road woman was gone from her home for just 3½ hours on Feb. 3 only to return home to find glass on her garage door broken and her home unlocked. She was the victim of a burglary. The thief took prescription drugs, a laptop computer, a digital camera and some jewelry from her home. Milton police advised her to let them know if she discovered more items were stolen. Uninvited Guests to Mother's Home Gone, and so is Jewelry An Oakstone Glen woman was away on business when her daughter invited a friend over, but that friend asked some of his own friends over as well. Now more than $14,000 in jewelry is missing from the Milton home. Three diamond rings were among the pieces of jewelry reported to Milton police as stolen on Jan. …

Suspect Names Released After Failed Apple Store Break-In

Alarm at North Point Mall leads police to arrest three suspects.

Three Tennessee men who police say fled the scene in a Jaguar remain jailed after a failed break-in at North Point Mall's Apple store at 2 a.m. today, Nov. 4. Alpharetta Police responded to the alarm call from the Apple store. Within two minutes of the call, they found a glass window was broken at a door to the mall near the parking deck. An employee at the mall told police he heard a loud bang and saw two men running from the front of the store. Mall security told police they had seen a red Jaguar leaving the area earlier. Police found the car going westbound on Haynes Bridge Road. Mall surveillance video showed two men break a mall window, enter the mall and then try to break the Apple store's window with a sledge hammer. The car was …
