The girls won their first tournament of the year.
The Concorde 12U White Team, coached by Mike Cediel, celebrated its first tournament win of the year, winning the Concorde Fire Challenge Cup on Feb. 17. After a weekend highlighted by hard-fought victories and one close defeat, the girls won the championship game 6-1. Royal M. Ford Crabapple Middle School Sport: Dance Sports Bio: Royal has been a part of the J.V. Dance Outreach Program. for 2 years. He learns dance under teacher at the Tobert-Yilmaz School of Dance under Jacqueline Vergez. Top Stat: Royal's mother has seen his confidence and social skills increase since he started in the dance program. He keeps his grades up so he may continue in the J.V. Dance Outreach Program. Adam and Kaden Fricker School: Adam, third grade at Midway Elementary School. Kaden, first grader at Midway Elementary School. Sports Bio: Started Tae Kwon Do 2 years ago when they received lessons from their parents as a Christmas present. Robert Chappell School: Just completed fifth grade at Lake Windward Elementary, where he graduated with all As and Bs. Exceeded in all areas on the CRCT. Sports Bio: Started baseball at age 6.
