Milton Defeats Woodstock Wolverines, 42-14
The Eagles play South Gwinnett in the first round of the 2012-2013 GHSA Class AAAAAA State Football Championship.
The Milton Eagles ended their regular football season with a win, defeating the Woodstock Wolverines, 42-14. Milton High School is 7-3 on the regular season, and 5-2 in league play. Woodstock is 3-7, and 3-4 in league play. Milton travels to South Gwinnett in the first round of playoffs. The Comets are 9-2 and 7-1 in league play. First round playoff games will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17. Statistics provided by Bill Berry show the home team never trailed, and kept the visiting Wolverines out of the end zone until the third quarter. At the half if was 28-0.
