Light Snow Possible, But Gusts of Wind Will Make Saturday Chilly

The National Weather Service predicts gusts of wind will reach 32 mph in Alpharetta, while the temperature will only hit 39 degrees.

Alpharetta and Milton only have a slight chance of snow coming, starting at about 4 a.m. Saturday and ending at 9 a.m. But it's going to be a cold day, with the daytime high of 39 degrees cooler than the temperature at 2 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. A near constant breeze will be accompanied by gusts of wind as high as 32 mph. Those gusts will start at about 16 mph at 8 a.m., reaching a peak above 30 mph bteween 2 and 5 p.m. The gusts won't stop until about 10 p.m. All that wind is going to make it feel 10 degrees cooler than the actual temperature, so dress accordingly.
