Prince Gets Life Sentence Plus 30 Years for Stabbing Great Grandmother - Douglasville Patch Gevin Prince pled guilty but mentally ill today in court, according to WSBTV, and received a life sentence in prison, plus 30 years, for stabbing his great-grandmother to death with a samurai sword. The 16-year-old had been found competent to stand trial, according to a report from psychologists for the Georgia Department of Human Services. A Walmart store manager looking for evidence of time card fraud by an employee found the problem was much worse than expected. The employee, who was supposed to prevent shoplifting, instead allegedly was seen shoplifting from the store, and two other employees were spotted in the same security vide review also taking items without paying for them. Milton police responded to the store manager's call on July 9 about the three employees being detained for shoplifting. The loss prevention officer was allegedly spotted shoplifting a laptop, an iPad, two cellphones, video games and other products worth approximately $3,500.
