A Milton High School swimmer was the female Student-Athlete of the Month for December honored by XL212. Katie Grover of Milton High and Conor Linneen of Fellowship Christian School were honored for their outstanding achievements on the field, in the classroom, and in their respective communities. Katie Grover Katie holds several of the swimming records at Milton, and she is ranked in the top 10 nationally for events such as the 100 Fly and the 100 Backstroke. Senior Enriched Living is offering its new schedule of classes beginning Sept. 18-20. Courses this fall on Tuesday in Roswell include: Classes on Thursday in Alpharetta include: Intermediate and Advanced Bridge Classes, Watercolor Painting, Current Events and a Financial Workshop are just some of the additional options. Instructors volunteer their time and generally have advanced degrees. For the past 20 years, the quality of instruction and group participation has made SEL an outstanding intellectual and social experience. Each semester several hundred people interested in lifelong learning get together once or twice a week.
