Creek View Elementary Students Learn About American Colonists

A member of the Sons of the American Revolution visits fourth grade students at the Alpharetta school.

Terry Manning, a member of the Sons of the American Revolution Society, visited Creek View Elementary recently. Mr. Manning presented to the fourth grade students who were studying the American Revolution. He shared amazing artifacts from the time period with these students.  Students walked away with the knowledge of what life was like during that era, the resourcefulness of the American Colonists, and the influence of King George III and the British government had on the decision to engage in war.

SAR Names Milton's Hutcheson Firefighter of the Year

The battalion chief and his wife foster twin infant boys and an 18-month-old girl to keep them from being separated.

"You simply can't ask for anybody better than…

Milton City Manager Chris Lagerbloom began Monday evenings City Hall meeting with an overview of the city's strategic plan. The plan, according to the city's Web site, is a three-year “road map” for city accomplishments. “We are going out into the community and soliciting feedback on where we are with respect to having put the plan together; whether we’re on track, off track, need to change directions,” said Lagerbloom.
