Alpharetta Issues Weather Advisory on Black Ice
The Friday morning commute may be the most hazardous time, as temperatures will be below freezing.
Watch out for black ice or other slippery road conditions expected when winter weather arrives in the area later today. Alpharetta issued its own weather and road conditions advisory this morning following a National Weather Service forecast that predicts a line of winter weather will enter the area between 3 and 4 p.m. today. Snow flurries are possible according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City in its forecast updated at 11:36 a.m. today, Jan. 17, though they should be minor and limited to grassy areas.
