Some area residents have been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. They are: Shane Michael Lanham of Milton. Brittany Samantha Norman of Johns Creek. Samuel C. Pierce of Atlanta. Tina Thapar of Alpharetta. To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 10 credit hours of coursework.

Some area residents have been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Samford University. They are: To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester. Founded in 1841, it is the largest private university in Alabama with more than 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled annually.
