Alpharetta High Hosts Region 6 Basketball Tournament
The Alpharetta Lady Raiders and the Chattahoochee Cougars are the first seeds in the girls and boys brackets.
Alpharetta High School hosts the 2013 Region 6 AAAAAA boys and girls basketball tournament this week, starting Tuesday, Feb. 12, with the girls. Championship games will be Saturday, Feb. 16. Girls – Tuesday, Feb. 12 Semifinals will be Friday, Feb. 15, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. the championshiop game will be Saturday, Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m., with the third place bracket at 2:30 p.m. Boys - Wednesday, Feb. 13 The semifinals will be on Friday, Feb. 15 at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The boys championship will be on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m., with the third place bracket at 4 p.m. The state basketball tournament will be held next week at Georgia Tech for the girls and boys, with the championship game on March 9 at the Macon Centerplex.
