North Beats South as Seniors Showcase Talents in Chamber Bowl

All Stars compete one last time in the North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club's fourth annual game.

The North squad held on to beat the South team by a score of 30-22 in the North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club's fourth annual Chamber Bowl All-Star game. Senior All-Stars from high schools all over the North Fulton and Forsyth County area were divided into a North and South squad and competed in a hard fought game that was not decided until the final seconds of the game. After a rough couple of outings in the last two years, the North squad made a statement in the first half by taking a 24-7 lead into the locker room.  In the middle of the third quarter, the lead had grown to 30-7, but the South squad did not go away quietly. Chattahoochee's Terry Crowder got his South All-Stars to refocus as they made a big comeback to make it a one score…

The Chamber Bowl All-Star Game Puts Players Back on the Field

The North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club gives high school seniors from the two counties another chance to impress college scouts.

Students from King's Ridge Christian and St. Francis High schools are among the football players taking part in The Chamber Bowl All-Star Game at 1 p.m. on Dec. 22 at Lambert High School in Suwanee (South Forsyth). King's Ridge Christian School St. Francis High School This game provides seniors with an opportunity to play one last game during their high school career and also serves as an opportunity to showcase their talent, according to the organizers. Players from all over the North Fulton and Forsyth county area will be represented in the game. For a complete roster, check out the attached pdf file. South Overwhelms North in 2011 Chamber Bowl

Local high school seniors shine one more time on the gridiron in nearby Johns Creek.

The third annual Chamber Bowl was held on Saturday at Johns Creek High School Stadium. The game, sponsored by the North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club, featured high school seniors representing 24 high schools in Forsyth and North Fulton counties. The team representing the South dominated from the first quarter on. The North could never find an answer for the high powered offense that the South squad brought to the game.  The South led 21-0 after the first quarter, lengthened its lead to 28-0 at the half. Two more touchdowns were added in the third quarter and one more in the fourth to give the South a 49-0 victory over the North. High School Football All-Stars Meet at Stars & Strikes

Milton High senior joins other football players to meet with coaches and take photos.

Some of the area's top high school football players met at Stars and Strikes Sunday to prepare for the 3rd annual North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club (NFFTD) Chamber Bowl Senior All Star Game. More than 100 players came out to take photos, chat with fellow all-stars and meet their position coaches. Eric Douglas, executive director of NFFTD, congratulated the players on their success and recent nomination. Douglas said the coaches from each member school get together to nominate certain seniors at each position. Coaches usually select two to three players per position to give everyone the chance to play in the game. The All-Star game is scheduled for Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. at Johns Creek High School.
