Just a week after Christmas comes the New Year's holiday, and most government offices will be closed again on Tuesday, with a few even closed on Monday.
We've barely finished with Christmas and it's time to start planning for New Year's. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 is a holiday, and governmental agencies, financial institutions and most service businesses are likely to be closed. Alpharetta will close all of its facilities, including City Hall, the Community Center and the Crabapple Government Center, at noon on Monday, Dec. 31. Trash pickup in Alpharetta will be on the regular Monday schedule on New Year's Eve, with no delays.
