It's Your Last Day to Get Santa to Reply to Children's Letters

Thanks to a very special U.S. Postal Service program, "Santa" will reply to children in Alpharetta and Milton who mail him their Christmas wish lists this holiday season.

Every year, millions of children sit down to make a wish list for Santa, hoping he will make all of their Christmas dreams come true. But what if Santa actually wrote back? The United States Postal Service is now accepting "Letters From Santa," a program that allows any person to play Santa by sending a letter signed by Saint Nick to any child. According to a postal service news release, "The 'Letters From Santa' program helps parents fulfill the dreams of their own children." Instructions to send a letter from Santa: In Alpharetta, letters to Santa can be dropped off at any post office location Check the accompanying map for locations. Alpharetta Recreation Center Hosts Santa's Mailbox

The Recreation and Parks center on Wills Road will accept those special wish lists from children.

Santa is waiting to get a “wish list” from all the children in the Alpharetta community, and "Santa’s elves" will install a special mailbox at Wills Park Recreation Center for children to mail their letters to Santa. Sponsored by the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department, “Santa’s Mailbox” is available Tuesday, Nov. 27 through Dec. 10. The Recreation and Parks Department encourages all good little boys and girls to drop of their letters to Santa. Child’s first name, last name, and address must be included. This is a free event. There will be forms available at all Recreation and Parks facilities. For more information, email the Recreation and Parks Department or call 678-297-6133.
