Share Your Elf on the Shelf Hiding Spots: What Has That Elf Been Up To?

Our Patch Elf on the Shelf has gotten ahold of our computer and now wants to know what his buddy elves are up to. Share your photos here!

Hi friends!  I'm the Patch Elf on the Shelf. Call me Patchy. I've heard about more of my friends hanging around the Alpharetta-Milton area lately, and I wondered what they were up to. Could their families post pictures here on Patch to show me? I'd love to catch up with them. We all go back to Santa on Christmas Eve, but in the meantime, we'll be watching you! Cheers, Patchy the Elf

Alpharetta Brightens Downtown With Nov. 30 Tree Lighting

North Point Community Church will work to put the 'Miracle' into the event with its sponsorship.

Alpharetta will light up its downtown historic district on Friday, Nov. 30, with the city's 35th annual Chirstmas Tree Lighting. This is a new date, according to city Special Events Manager Kim Dodson, so update your calendars. The pre-lighting festivities begin around 5 p.m., filling donwtown streets with musical performances, a visit by Santa, a holiday market and more. The lighting of the town will occur just before the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus on a City of Alpharetta fire truck.  "But before Santa arrives we must fill the 'Cheer Meter' with Christmas spirit," Dodson said in her …

My family will be going through Atlanta soon. We would like to attend church on Sunday morning. I wonder if there is a special Christmas program for this Christmas. Or special information that we need to know to be sure we will not miss a service.   more ›
