Alpharetta Music Major Excels at State Piano Auditions
Meaghan Stokes placed as a first honorable mention.
Meaghan Stokes, a senior music major from Alpharetta, recently competed at the GMEA State Piano Auditions. Stokes placed in the competition as a First Honorable Mention. Reinhardt students took five of the top six awards and ranked first in each category except Recital Winner. All seven Reinhardt students who performed placed. A total of 20 students competed, representing the following universities in addition to Reinhardt: Augusta State University, Kennesaw State University, State University of West Georgia, University of Georgia, and Valdosta State University.
