Goodwill of North Georgia looking to fill 40 positions for new store in Forsyth County.
Goodwill of North Georgia is holding a hiring event next week in Alpharetta to fill 40 positions for its new Forsyth County location set to open next month in Forsyth County. According to a press release, those interested should apply in person March 19, 20 and 21 (9 a.m.-2 p.m. each day) at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 4025 Windward Plaza Drive in Alpharetta. Candidates must be at least 18, have valid identification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test. The annual All-Star game draws high school seniors from across the region to play in front of college coaches and scouts.
Football isn't quite over for high school seniors in North Fulton and Forsyth. The 2011 Chamber Bowl, an All-Star game for senior players, will be held Saturday, Dec. 17 at Johns Creek High. The North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club's 2011 Chamber Bowl will start with a 1 p.m. kick-off at the John Creek High School Field. Coach Charles Wiggins of Pinecrest Academy will be the head coach for the North team, with Coach Bill Waters of Johns Creek High School the head coach for the South team. Coaches from each school will represent their programs as assistants on the staff, while more than 100 players from the 26 North Fulton and Forsyth County high schools playing in this showcase event.
