Alumni Lacrosse Players Invited to Classic

Hooch lacrosse program hosting Asa Adler Memorial Alumni Classic.

The Chattahoochee High School boys' lacrosse program will host the third-annual Asa Adler Memorial Alumni Lacrosse Classic on Dec. 15. Men's alumni players from Alpharetta, Centennial, Chattahoochee, Lassiter, Milton and Northview high schools will come together for a rousing afternoon full of competitive jamboree-style games.  Activities will begin at noon with lunch at the Chattahoochee pavilion catered by Shane's Rib Shack. Alumni players from all six high schools are encouraged to register to play. Alpharetta Raiders, Chattahoochee Cougars Battle on the Gridiron

While the teams will fight for victory, both squads, their coaches and fans will unite for a Pink Out in the fight against breast cancer.

Alpharetta High School and Chattahoochee High School join together with Northside Hospital for a PINK OUT in the fight against breast cancer today, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. Alpharetta High School hosts the Second Annual Pink Out Football game benefitting Susan G. Komen and Northside Breast Care Center  This year's event will  highlight “Two Teams, One Cause” as the Raiders and the Cougars join together to raise funds for a cure. Check out Nick May's video, "Here, Kitty Kitty," a riff on the rivalry between the two teams that enlists a score of his friends, posted on YouTube, and learn about this budding videographer. People give Susan G. Komen money to fight breast cancer and Susan G. Komen gives some of that donated money to the babykillers at Planned Parenthood. I don't think people who give money to Susan G. Komen to fight breast cancer, know their money is going to an abortion organization that kills unborn babies.   more ›

Community Gathers for Taste of Johns Creek

A great crowd turned out for Taste of Johns Creek on Sunday despite on-and-off rain showers. An Alpharetta restaurant even won one of the culinary competition categories. Some 30 restaurants participated in the annual fundraising event for Chattahoochee High School athletics. Johns Creek Patch editor Ann Marie Quill, along with Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker, John Hillman from Chattahoochee High's Athletic Association, and Michael Maliska, resident chef at Publix Aprons Cooking School. Join Patch at Taste of Johns Creek

Chattahoochee High School continuing annual benefit on Sunday.

Chattahoochee High School will continue its neighborhood tradition with the Taste of Johns Creek on Sunday, Aug. 19, from 4-7 p.m., and Patch will be there to join in the fun. The event will include many of the past years’ favorite features, such as food and presentation contests, a Kidz Zone and performances by local artists. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and children 4 and under are free.  Food from a variety local restaurants will be in the spotlight as top chefs share their culinary treats. Johns Creek Patch editor Ann Marie Quill will be a judge, along with Tim Duncan, Chattahoochee High principal; Michael Maliska, resident chef at Publix Aprons Cooking School; and Mike Bodker, Johns Creek's mayor. Taste of Johns Creek Returning in August

Chattahoochee High's annual event to benefit the football team and cheer club, and some Alpharetta restaurants are participating.

Chattahoochee High School will continue a neighborhood tradition with the 5th annual Taste of Johns Creek on Sunday, Aug. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. The community-wide event will include many of the past years’ best features, including food and presentation contests, a fun-filled Kidz Zone and great performances by local artists. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and children 4 and under are free.  Gourmet foods from several local restaurants will be in the spotlight as top chefs share their culinary treats.
