Alpharetta Police Make Car Theft Arrests
The following arrest information was supplied by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. It does not indicate a conviction.
An Alpharetta couple was arrested when Alpharetta police found the car they were in was reported stolen. An officer was following behind the car on Jan. 10 at 10:37 p.m. on Windward Parkway. A traffic stop was made at Deerfield Road and Webb Road. The driver was found to be unlicensed, while a check of the passenger's driver's license showed she was wanted by the Hillsborough County, FL, Sheriff's Office. The passenger said the car was rented from Alamo Rent A Car through her Capital One card. A dispute was made on $1,600 in charges, but she said Capital One had resolved the problem so they car wasn't stolen. Cynthia Eula Rodriguez was arrested and charged with theft by conversion.
