Brandon Beach Carried Over Unused Campaign Cash
Beach did not refund campaign donations he received in 2010, a violation of state law.
Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Brandon Beach violated state law when he did not refund contributions raised for the 2010 primary election, according to Atlanta Unfiltered. Beach, running for the Georgia Senate at the time, raised $13,600 he planned to spend during the general election, but lost the primary. The investigative journalism website notes the state requires candidates to give back contributions raised during an election period in which they are not on the ballot. The Alpharetta resident kept those contributions and also applied them to his 2012 primary challenge against former Senator Chip Rogers, the website notes. Amen Steely Dan and I got so sick of the same Robo Calls from Smoltz about Beach. Who cares who some has been sport figure supports or votes for. And why cant a candidate just speak for themselves and make their own recordings for robo calls?   more ›
