FBI, Alpharetta Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect
The public is being asked to help locate and identify the armed robber of a BB&T branch on North Point Parkway.
The FBI and Alpharetta police are asking for the public's help to find a man responsible for the armed robbery of the BB&T Branch on North Point Parkway on Monday. A lone black male entered the branch at 5690 North Point Parkway at approximately 9:53 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, and announced a robbery. According to an FBI blog, the robber placed a handgun onto the teller counter. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank without further incident. Special Agent in Charge Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta and Alpharetta Director of Public Safety Gary D. George are asking for assistance from the public in identifying and locating the individual responsible for the armed robbery.
