Alpharetta Police Need Help to Find Armed and Dangerous Suspect

A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the shooting death of a Canton man at an Alpharetta townhome.

Alpharetta detectives believe a murder suspect is hiding in the metro Atlanta area, but they've been unable to find him. So the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety has renewed its call and an offer of a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Shane Demetrice Woods. Woods is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Zachary Rose, 22, of Canton, on Jan. 25. Rose was visiting a friend at the Stoneridge townhome subdivision in Alpharetta when someone knocked on the door. After the door was answered, Rose was shot in the lower abdomen. He was taken to North Fulton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Alpharetta police captured someone they believe was an accomplice to Woods in Sandy Springs, but have had no luck in …

Babysitter Armed and Dangerous; Waffle House CEO Says Sex Claims False

FBI: Wanted Babysitter Considered Armed and Dangerous - Sandy Springs Patch Authorities, including the FBI, continue to seek Caris E. Ayala for the alleged October murder of a five-month-old boy in Sandy Springs. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Ayala in the Northern District of Georgia on Oct. 24, after she was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. After the boy's death on Oct. 26, a felony murder warrant was issued for Ayala. A statement on the FBI website says Ayala, age 24, 5-foot-4, and 140 pounds, should be considered armed and dangerous. Alpharetta Police: Suspect Found

No details are available, but reportedly a suspect wanted in connection with the aggravated assault of his wife has taken his own life.

UPDATE: AUG 2. Police have cancelled a lookout for Samuel Smith III, who apparently took his own life. No details are available at this time. Alpharetta police are searching for a suspect they consider armed and dangerous after they responded to the scene this morning of an aggravated assault in progress. On Aug. 1at 7:35am, Alpharetta police were dispatched to the Alpharetta address, according to George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. Officers found the victim, who was visibly upset and shaking. She said she had just left her apartment to go to work.
