Milton 13-Year-Old Busted After Using Mom's Credit Card

A Milton 13-year-old juvenile allegedly used his mother's Kindle and her credit card to spend more than $3,000 on Amazon.com in a 30-minute period on Sept. 18. Milton police took him to a youth detention facility. The juvenile said he left school early because he was sick. Once home, he copied his mother's credit card information after taking the card out of her purse. He then used her Kindle to make the following purchases: His mother, who brought him to the Milton police department, told police he had done this at least 10 times in the past two years – and had been placed on probation in April for one of those offenses.
