Alpharetta Company Adds Another Golf Course to its Portfolio

Affiniti Golf Partners will help Jemsek Golf operate a golf course in Newnan.

Jemsek Golf, the family company that originally designed, built and opened Summer Grove Golf Club in Newnan in 1999, has re-acquired ownership of the 18-hole facility and opened it to public and new member play for the first time in seven years. Jemsek Golf owned and operated Summer Grove for seven years before selling it to Canongate Golf Clubs in 2006. The ownership transferred to Jemsek Golf effective Friday, Feb. 15. Canongate previously ran SummerGrove as a private club. Katherine Jemsek, Jemsek Golf president, will direct operations for the family-owned and managed business and has retained Alpharetta-based Affiniti Golf Partners to provide a range of services to help promote and market the facility to local and regional golfers. …

Alpharetta Company Adds 3 Golf Properties to its Stable

Affiniti Golf Partners adds properties in New York, North Carolina and North Georgia to its portfolio.

Affiniti Golf Partners of Alpharetta added three golf properties to those it manages:  Dutchess Golf & Country Club in Poughkeepsie, NY, Waterfall Country Club in Clayton, GA, and Thistle Golf Club in Sunset Beach, NC, according to Affiniti founding partner, Whitney Crouse. Affiniti Golf Partners will oversee the golf and club operations, membership, marketing, finance, dining and special events at all three clubs. Dutchess Golf & Country Club, Poughkeepsie, NY Established in 1897 and located 80 miles north of New York City on the east bank of the Hudson River, Dutchess Golf & Country Club was one of the very first golf courses in the country.
