Union Hill Park

Webb Bridge Park

Driving into Webb Bridge Park takes you into the woods, with a narrow street that almost immediately becomes aMore one-way lane winding up and down hills throughout the park. Residents use the two grass soccer fields, one multi-purpose synthetic turf field, four baseball fields and four tennis courts throughout much of the year. Concession stands and restrooms can be found at each area.

Multiple walking trails offer more exercise opportnities, including the arboretum trail. Trees are marked with signs sponsored by local residents and businesses. The community-built Webb Zone is a sprawling playground that includes the standards plus a large sandbox with its own awning, a sun dial and other special features. The three picnic pavilions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Rock Mill Park

This park incorporates environementally friendly and sustainable features, according to the city's Web site andMore educational signs at the site. A green roof pavilion complete with ground level examples of this sustainable building feature educates visitors on a "green" way to help cool a building. It also controls runoff from a typical impervious surface, the roof of a building. An outdoor classroom is surrounded by examples of native plants suited for the climate and how wetlands help manage an ecosystem. Trails connect the park to the Big Creek Greenway.

North Park provides lighted tennis courts, 8 softball/football fields, walking trails, meeting rooms, 2 playgrounds andMore 3 picnic pavilions. It is home to many ALTA and USTA teams as well as the Alpharetta youth football association and the North Metro Miracle League at the Alpharetta Adapted Sports Complex. A paved road connects all park amenities which makes it easy to navigate your way through the park.
