Dr. Denmark will forever be in our hearts...her wisdom came directly from the heavens. After each visit with my children, I felt like I had been visiting family. She would open the door into the small waiting area where many families were waiting and always say, "who's my next angel". We all loved her and we loved visiting with the other families waiting to see her and hearing all their stories …   more ›

Friends, Family Mourn the Loss of Brittney Watts

Services were held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church this morning, Tuesday, July 19.

Hundreds turned out for the funeral services held Tuesday morning at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Brittney Watts, the 26-year-old woman fatally shot in Midtown Atlanta on Friday. From the somber atmosphere, it was apparent that the loss of Watts–a native of Roswell and graduate of both Roswell High School and the University of Georgia–had a significant impact on her hometown of Roswell. The woman friends say was always so positive and upbeat had only recently returned to the Atlanta area, moving into a Decatur neighborhood with her husband. Watts was laid to rest in Green Lawn Cemetery off Alpharetta Highway immediately following the service.
