Milton, one of Georgia's newest cities, picked a building in an existing single-story office complex to house municipal offices. Most city employees work out of these offices off Deerfield Parkway, with local residents finding their way on one side or the other of Building 100 to pay their taxes, traffic tickets or to attend a City Council meeting. The city's Police department is housed in this same office building. The city's logo, a stylized horse, shows the regard Milton has for its small-town heritage.
