Santa Answers Mail, Stops for Photos with Pets and Parties with Kids

City of Milton holds its Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony Friday evening.

Santa's Mailbox @ Wills Park Recreation Center: Monday, Nov. 25, 8 a.m. Santa's elves will install a special mailbox at Wills Park Recreation Center for children to mail their letters to Santa.  Santa will respond to all children who drop off their letters between Nov. 25-Dec. 16.  Sponsored by Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department. Pet Photos with Santa: Monday, Nov. 25, 6 p.m. at North Point Mall, 1000 North Point Circle, Alpharetta. We've reserved special times for your furry friends to visit Santa. Those four-legged family members want to see the big guy in the red suit too. It's a waggin' good time. Reserved for dogs and cats only please. 

Pajama Party with Santa: Tuesday, Nov. 26, 6 p.m., North Point Mall, 1000 North Point Circle, Alpharetta. Start a new tradition and visit Santa in your pajamas. Bring your child's favorite stuffed animal, blanket or book and capture a magical and memorable moment. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots and create a memorable moment for a deserving child in our community too. And with a $3 donation for Toys for Tots, you can receive a customized email letter from Santa on Christmas Eve.

Lloyd C. Douglas' "Home for Christmas": Nov. 29-Dec. 22; Friday and Saturday Nights at 7:30 p.m., Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m. Alpharetta Presbyterian Church, 180 Academy St., Alpharetta. Presented by ACT1 Theatre, join us as we celebrate the "Spirit of Christmas" in this classic tale of a family coming together for the holidays.  Tickets: Adults -$15; Kids 12 and under, Seniors 60 and over $12.

Fifth annual City of Milton Tree Lighting: Milton's holiday season will kick off Friday, Nov. 29 with the fifth annual City of Milton Tree Lighting ceremony from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the corner of Ga. 9 and Webb Road. The tree lighting ceremony will last 30 minutes, from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and include musical performances and Milton's Mayor and City Council counting down to the big moment. After the tree is lit, good St. Nick will arrive by fire truck to the tune of "Here Comes Santa Claus."
