Learn to Cook with Beer; Get a Taste of Nashville Music in Alpharetta; Have a Howling Good Time

Straight from the Pint: Beer-based Recipes: Wednesday, Jan. 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Harry's Farmers Market, 1180 Upper Hembree Rd, Roswell. 770-664-6300.

Crafts for Kids: Thursday, Jan. 23, 4:30 p.m. Alpharetta Library, 238 Canton St. Enjoy some hands on crafts and creativity with friends at the library. We'll give new life to worn out books by transforming them into paper flowers. Will require use of scissors. Space is limited to 20 participants. Reservations are recommended. Ages 8-11.

Nashville Artist Tim McDonald at The Velvet Note: Friday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m.  4075 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta. 

HOWLpharetta Ghost Tour: Saturday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Historic Downtown Alpharetta. Experience some of historic downtown Alpharetta’s extensive history through a narrated walking tour. Some regular sites through the journey include the original site of City Hall, a famous restaurant that is rumored to be haunted, shops with local flair, turn of the century hotels and a local favorite, Resthaven Cemetery.
