Snow Begins to Fall in Alpharetta – and Stick in Some Places

Submit your photos of the effects of today's snow flurries and of any patches of black ice you spot.

Only light flurries are coming down, but the winter storm has arrived in North Fulton.
However, the snow has begun to stick on grass, sidewalks – and cars. Expect to scrape snow off your windshield if your car has been outside since before the snow began.
The snow is making surfaces slick. On roadways, the snow is melting. But that could be a problem as the light layer of moisture freezes and creates "black ice" on those same roads. If the roads don't dry first, this probably will be a bigger problem tonight and in the morning than now with all of the heavy traffic.
