Women's Advisory Board Plans Power of Pink Luncheon

The members of the North Fulton Hospital advisory board advocate for women's health matters.

North Fulton Hospital presented its 2011–2012 Women’s Advisory Board, which addresses matters relating to women’s health advocacy and hospital based programs such as maternity, breast health, hearth health and general well being. They also provide feedback on various women’s programs, help raise awareness about various health concerns for women and provides suggestions to help address local women's concerns.

These women from around the community are planning North Fulton Hospital’s Power of Pink, a Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, according to Laura Elkins of the hospital's marketing department.

The luncheon will be held on Friday, Sept. 23, at the Country Club of Roswell and all proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Atlanta Affiliate.
