Wells Fargo Honors, Alpharetta, Milton Groups in Days of Giving

Six local non-profit groups received $1,000 grants.

Six Alpharetta and Milton non-profit groups were among the 234 non-profits in all chosen by Wells Fargo for $1,000 grants in  the third year of the Days of Giving program in Atlanta.

The company also announced that its Atlanta team members had pledged or given $937,000 through its annual United Way and Community Support campaign – 10 percent more than last year. Wells Fargo is also making a $600,000 corporate contribution to the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.

In the Days of Giving celebration, team members in the company’s almost 200 bank stores in Atlanta, along with those in other business lines, selected and recognized groups that were delivering important services in their local areas.
