Polly is a sweet 5-year-old adult beagle who must have had a very sad life. Angels Among Us Pet Rescue first learned about her when she was in a shelter and was being treated for heartworm disease. Poor Polly acted like she had never had the slightest bit of attention or a kind word. Now she is in a foster home where for the first time in her life she is experiencing love, and she is in seventh heaven. She even has her own toys to play with.
Polly has big soft eyes and long floppy ears. Her foster mom says that she has her own vocabulary and can make the most incredible sounds when she is talking to you.
Polly is both crate-trained and house-trained. She does very well with the other dogs in the household, but gets a little too excited with cats. She is totally devoted to her foster family and wants to be wherever they are. Please note that her new home should have a fenced-in yard.
Like all of Angels' dogs, Polly is spayed, has recovered completely from her bout with heartworm disease, has received her vaccinations and is micro-chipped.
