Playful Labrador Retriever Pup Needs a Good Home

The Pet of the Week is 7-month-old Carlton, who comes with all of his shots and a free training class courtesy of Kudzu Antiques.

Carlton is a sweet, male Labrador retriever mix who has lived at the for three months and desperately wants a family to love and play with. He is still a puppy at almost seven months with a beautiful black coat and little white spots on his paws.

Due to his love of food, this little man has developed a thick, stocky body and would benefit from someone committed to walking and running with him every day to help him lose a little weight. Despite the little bit of extra weight Carlton carries around his mid-section, he is still small for a typical Labrador retriever mix weighing only 27 pounds at seven months and will probably stay medium sized. He is also very playful and loves to run and chase tennis balls.

Since Carlton is still a growing puppy, he would greatly benefit from structure and training. Kudzu Antiques has generously sponsored a six-week training class for Carlton to be attended by Carlton and his family so he can start off on the path of becoming a great family addition.
