North Fulton Rotarians Donate to Habitat for Humanity

Milton High graduate tells Alpharetta club about the Roswell-based agency's work.

 

Habitat for Humanity North Georgia's Colleen Fogarty visited the Rotary Club of North Fulton and left with a $1,000 donation from the club to assist in its efforts to build houses in the local community and worldwide.

Fogarty grew up in Alpharetta and is a graduate. She attended the University of Georgia, where she first become involved with Habitat for Humanity. Upon graduation, that college avocation turned into a job as she was hired by

. She has been working with the local Habitat office for six years.

In addition to her work locally, she also leads Habitat for Humanity Global Village trips to various locations abroad. Last year she led a trip to Portugal, and this year she will be leading a trip to the Dominican Republic. Fogarty is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership North Fulton and is still involved with its Board of Directors.
