Milton Wants Counselors for Special Needs Camp

Milton is hiring season summer camp counselors for its Camp Joyful Soles program.

The city of Milton is reaching out to the community for help to staff and run a summer camp initiative for special needs teens.

The city's Parks and Recreation Department is currently hiring seasonal summer camp counselor positions for Camp Joyful Soles, a day camp for special needs teens and young adults ages 13 to 21.

"Every year our counselors tell us this job is one of the best they've ever had," said Tom Gilliam, Milton's programs coordinator. "There's nothing like connecting with these kids and helping to make their summer great."

Interested applicants need to have graduated high school by June 1, 2014.
