Milton Friends Partner with Car Dealer to Raise Funds

Children's Healthcare support group wants money for an ambulance.

A group of Milton residents will help unveil some of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz models, but for an altruistic reason. Milton Friends of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has enlisted the aid of RBM of Atlanta-North to raise money for the emergency transport vehicle to be stationed at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's new Forsyth campus.

The event will be held at on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. and will feature food stations provided by local restaurants, live music, silent and live auctions and special prize opportunities.

Event Chair Amanda White said, “Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has touched the lives of countless children in the area, including my own daughters. Due to their amazing efforts, talent and utmost patience we have two happy and healthy teenagers. Incredibly, both girls faced life threatening illnesses on separate occasions and they would not be here today without the treatment they received.”
