Habitat for Humanity Urgently Needs Volunteers

You don't need special skills or experience, but you do need to email Habitat today.

Habitat for Humanity-North Central Georgia urgently needs volunteers to work on Saturday, Sept. 8.

"We are working on three homes and tomorrow will be an exterior paint day. No prior experience or particular skill level is needed," said Colleen Forgarty, resource development director for Habitat.

Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that they do not mind getting paint on, she said. Bring a sack lunch.

While Habitat needs these volunteers, you need to email Fogarty and not just show up on site in Cherokee County at Park Creek subdivision.
