Why Go? Hundreds of bicyclists will raise funds by biking between 1 and 100 miles on the roads of Alpharetta, Roswell and Forsyth County.

Why Go?: More than 100 antique dealers and artists will be in Crabapple for one day only, rain or shine.  Come enjoy this tradition in Crabapple and find the perfect antique or piece of art. Free admission, trolley ride, and blue grass music add to the fun; plus fabulous food!!

Why Go?: The 6th Annual Scarecrow Harvest is a time when the community comes alive with whimsical scarecrows. Accredited K-5 Schools create approximately 100 scarecrows each year. In addition to the students, we invite businesses, non-profit organizations, neighborhoods, families and individuals to make scarecrows. Anyone is welcome to design a scarecrow personality and join in on the fun! At 12pm, SCARECROW AWARDS and prizes will be given to Accredited K-5 Schools classrooms.

Why Go? Eight high school marching bands from around the metro area will compete in this year’s White Columns Invitational including Centennial, Chattahoochee, Central Gwinnett, Creekview, Lambert, Alpharetta, Collins Hill, and Walton.

Where/When: Historic Downtown Alpharetta Milton Ave & N Main St, Alpharetta, GA, Saturday, Oct. 1, 6:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Why Go?: The Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association is proud to present the first annual Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest street dance, brew & shenanigans There will be great food, beer and wine and non-alcoholic beverages for sale, a performance by the Old School Horn Band from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the headline band Banks and Shane from 9pm to 11pm!

Why Go?: The 61st Annual Frances McGahee Youth Day Parade is sponsored by the City of Roswell to honor and support the youth of Roswell. This year’s theme is “The Rec Makes Life Fun!” Parade line up begins at Roswell First Baptist Church with parade ending at Roswell Area Park. An outdoor festival will be held at Roswell Area Park following the parade.

The mission of Kids' Chance of Georgia, Inc. is to provide educational scholarships to the children of Georgia workers who have been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured in work-related accidents.
