Do You Love the Water? How About a Dog That Feels the Same Way?

This Pit Bull-Terrier mix has spent too much time at the Atlanta Humane Society's Mansell Campus. He needs someone to adopt him.

Beautiful Maddox is a Pit Bull Terrier mix who has been living at the Atlanta Humane Society since March. Poor Maddox has been here so long he is beginning to feel like this is more than a temporary stop on his way to his forever home. He would welcome the chance to show you and your family what
a fun, good boy he can be.

When Maddox came to our shelter he was a little on the skinny side but is filling out nicely weighing about 40 pounds currently. He is still considered a puppy at 10 months and has almost reached his adult size although he could still grow a little more.

Maddox is energetic and strong but with proper training, dedication and daily exercise Maddox could quickly learn how to channel that energy. He loves nothing more than playing with tennis balls! They are his favorite toy and he often spends lots of time running around the play yards carrying them. Maddox
also plays nicely with other dogs and would be a great second dog! He would love nothing more than to be adopted by someone with a back yard for playtime and a dog friend to play with.

Here at the shelter Maddox is known as a little water lover and is frequently caught basking in kiddie pools in the play yards. He would make a great addition to a water loving family or one that might consider giving him his very own kiddie pool!

In anticipation of the day when he will finally find his forever family, Maddox has been neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated, dewormed and micro-chipped.

You can meet Maddox at the at 1565 Mansell Road, Alpharetta, GA 30009. Please bring your whole family (dogs included) to meet Maddox and see if he is the perfect fit. An application can be filled out at our location and we can be reached at 404-875-5331 with any questions.
