Cyclists Take Practice Ride for Cycle for Life

A 40-mile ride starts in Crabapple and goes through Milton and Cherokee this morning.

 The first training ride for the Cycle for Life will start at 8 a.m. today in Crabapple, with cyclists invited to take part in the 40-mile ride through Milton and Cherokee County.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation representatives will be available to sign up all interested for their Cycle for Life ride in Serenbe on Nov. 9.

One the ride is over, cyclists can enjoy lunch in Crabapple with a 20 percent off coupon tnaks to Sip, OBD and Milton's–plus there will be a drawing for Can's.

The ride today is free, but registration is recommended. Email vcervantez@cff.org.

Wheels down will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Crabapple Government Building a 12624 Broadwell Road for the 40-mile ride. Restrooms, water and sports drinks will be available in Crabapple and mid-way through ride.
