Bridgeway Showcases Students' Mission Work

Flood Student Missions presents its fourth annual Get On Board" community celebration Friday night.

will showcase what middle and high school students are doing for service in the community, through the Flood Student Missions Get On Board community celebration on Friday night.

Adults, students, parents, church leaders, civic leaders and" anyone who has a heart for students and missions are welcome to attend," the school says in its invitation. "Join us for our 4th annual community celebration highlighting what God is doing in the lives of today’s middle and high school students through serving."

While the event is free, you must register. The cost of the event is free but all attendees must be registered.

Rick Johnson, founding director of Winshape Camps (a Chick-fil-A ministry), will speak as well. John Waller, a Christian recording artist who is featured on the soundtrack of Fireproof and Courageous also will participate.

In addition to showcasing the students, awards will be handed out for their service. And volunteers will get recognition.

According to its website, Flood exists "to cultivate servant hearts in students. Providing local mission opportunities for students to saturate their communities with hearts and hands of Christ allows this cultivation process to take place."
