Adopt This Shy Cat From The Atlanta Humane Society

Eden would love a home with a kitty friend.

Eden is a sweet, calico cat who was transferred to the from a shelter in Alabama who no longer had space for her. Since she has been with us she has started to come out of her shell but is still a timid, shy cat. She is beautiful with a tri-color orange, black and white coat and the quietest meow to fit her gentle demeanor. She is a petite adult cat weighing six pounds at just over one year old.

Little Eden is generally shy about meeting people but is currently living in a room with other cats and has adjusted very well to her kitty friends. They are helping her learn to be more brave and affectionate with people. Eden would love to get adopted with a friend or come to your home as the second cat. Since meeting and living with the other cats she is frequently seen rolling around playing with toys and running to the door of her room to stare at passersby.

She would do best in a home with a cat friend and one that would understand her shy nature and be willing to spend the time helping her adjust to life as part of a family. This sweet girl would love the chance to live in a real home. In hope of finding the perfect fit for her she has been vaccinated, spayed, dewormed and tested negative for fiv and feline leukemia.

Eden would love to meet you, so if she sounds like a good kitty for you please come to the Atlanta Humane Society’s Mansell Campus located at 1565 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009 for a “meet and greet.” Bring your whole family, including little ones, to meet and play with Eden.  An adoption application can be filled out at our location or we can be contacted at 404-875-5331 with any questions.
