Will Gas Prices Affect Your Holiday Weekend Plans?

Gas prices might be 30 cents cheaper than last year, but they are still above $3 a gallon.

Gas prices are far below record high rates, but at $3.41 or more around the Alpharetta-Milton area, that could be too much for some motorists to make traditional holiday plans.

Pay in our community is high enough that high gas prices might be easier to bear, but nobody likes to pay a fortune to drive to Jekyll Island or Destin or Panama Beach. Everybody might seem like they are at DisneyWorld at the unofficial start of summer, the Memorial Day weekend, but does it seem as if gas costs are higher than hotel costs for the family?

Are your plans different this year than in previous years? Is it better, or worse? Don't forget to take the poll, too.
