Swing Into Action at NFCC Golf Tourney

“Tee up” for the community as North Fulton Community Charities prepares for its Fourth annual “Swing into Action with NFCC” Golf Tournament taking place on Monday, July 23, at in Johns Creek. 

NFCC’s mission is to build self-sufficiency and prevent homelessness and hunger in our community by providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs.  This event is a great opportunity for corporate, civic and faith based groups or individuals to support families living in the North Fulton community.

NFCC sees an average of 100 families per day and provides nine tons of food per week. In 2011, it assisted more than 5,000 families and provided $1.2 million in financial assistance.  As one single mother said in a heartfelt letter…

“Together with NFCC, I was able to raise my boys who now serve our country.  This place has furnished me and my boys with food when our cabinets were bare, helped me financially when I didn’t have enough, and provided school supplies, clothes and Christmas.  I am forever grateful.”

“This tournament is a wonderful opportunity to bring awareness to the needs of families and individuals in our community. Each week, NFCC sees a number of people who are unemployed, underemployed and struggling to make ends meet. As an organization that has supported the North Fulton community over 29 years, we strive to live out our mission of preventing homelessness and hunger,” stated Vonda Malbrough, Development and Event Director.
